In the romantic old town of Verezzi (Western Liguria), one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, in the hamlet Roccaro, convenient to beaches, climbing cliffs and inside paths of Liguria, in a portion of an historic villa perfectly restored and with stunning 180 degrees view of the bay and the island Gallinara, we rent apartment of about 80sqm, 4 beds, distributed as follows: entrance hall, kitchen (to share with the owner in the winter time), master bedroom with balcony, bedroom with French bed (120cm), one bathroom with bathtub, laundry room, large porch. All rooms have a wonderful view of the sea. Immersed in the silence and in a lush countryside, the accommodation is furnished with rare antiques and has indipendent heating.

You will be in a totally motor free area: the house is not reachable with cars or motorcycles. The closest parking is 150-200m from the entrance door. We provide all the necessary utensils in the kitchen, towels and sheets for 4 people.
A shared dining area is provided also in a stunning “loggia” overlooking the sea.

We do not charge for access to the internet. The strenght and the quality of the signal are good for the most frequent uses and the (non guaranteed) speed is 10Mbit/sec.
The washing machine is available for your laundry. The terrace above the loggia can be used as drying area as well as sun bathing.
We have a small collection of books and movies available in the main room: we will greatly appreciate your contribution of any books or magazines that you have finished reading to increase our collection. Many photographies and collages and work of art are hanged on the walls and might be for sell: please ask if you find something that tickles your taste.
Do not worry about the lack of air conditioning: the walls of the house are thick and made ​​of stone: the internal temperature is always fresh.
Verezzi is connected with Borgio with daily buses. There is a path going downhill and one can reach the beach in 24 minutes walk. In Borgio you can rent bikes and scooters.
The pictures show the stunning view on the sea, the town is one of the best in Italy and I’ll do my best for making your visit a success!

You will be asked to show your ID for registration.
We kindly ask you not to smoke in the rooms, to close the porch door when you leave and to turn the gas lever off once you’ve cooked.

THE OWNER: I’m 44 years old, photographer, collagist, creative. I lived and worked in the USA, Germany, UK and Belgium. I speak fluent english, french, german and my mothertongue is italian. I love sharing. I love animals, nature and sports. I like the different cultures and I find that traveling teaches more than anything else. I am fascinated by the beauty in all its forms and those who speak many languages, remember many things or know how to do something well. I strum the guitar and sing gladly, preferably in the company. My b&b’s name is “aùa”, which is the ligurian dialect for “now”. The name links to the Horace’s aphorism “carpe diem” usually translated “seize the day”, taken from a poem written in the Odes in 23 BC by the Latin poet.

Beaches are reachable by walking in a 20 min path down the hill (which is advised) or by bus or car in 10 min drive. Be aware that parking along the sea in summer could be difficult. The bus service stop at 6pm.

A unique experience: the sighting of the 8 species of whales that inhabit the waters of the Ligurian Sea. You can make departures from Savona and Varazze, Loano, Alassio and Andora.
